Table Of Contents:
Duties:
The Water Board of Commissioners was created to protect assets, supplies, and facilities of the Pulaski Water System and to oversee the drinking water infrastructure; including the wells, water reservoir, and delivery system.  Specific duties are as follows:
 
  • Recommend an annual budget to the Village Board for operation and maintenance,
  • Audit and order paid all claims incurred,
  • Administer the budget as approved by the Village Board,
  • Recommend appropriate water rates necessary for operations, maintenance, and debt service,
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the water collection system and pumping station,
  • Assure proper training of Water Plant Operators and review and accept monthly operator reports,
  • Plan, authorize, and coordinate maintenance of the water system with the Superintendent of the Department of Public Works,
  • Address concerns of local residents that may arise relative to the water system service.
