Village Of Pulaski
Resolutions

Resolutions

A resolution is a record of decision of the Village Board that expresses their consensus on matters of public policy.  The Board passes resolutions for intermal administrative purposes and are intended to have a temporary effect.  Examples include establishing a salary, transferring money from one budget account to another or legislative expressions of praise or mourning.

Resolutions may be adopted without any waiting period, without notifying the public, and without holding a public hearing.  Resolutions may be introduced and passed at the same meeting, and unless otherwise stated, take effect immediately.
